Snow Storm -- round two

The roads are closed and we couldn't leave for UT today -- so we went sledding again. It's freezin' but it's hard to get the kids away from the hill. Only hot chocolate seems to entice them back inside. Although Josh was done for the day after that wipeout....hopefully the roads will be open tomorrow!

First Snow

We got our first snow today. Did a little sledding for FHE. Hopefully it won't make it too hard to get down to Julies for Thanksgiving!

Paranoid Parent

The other day Josh was sitting in his room moaning and saying "My weg huwts" over and over. I checked him out and couldn't see anything wrong...and he didn't even seem to have hurt himself in any way. At any rate, my mind got to spinning over and over about all the bad things that could be going on. I just had to get an x-ray. So here I am. Diagnosis? Pawanoid pawent, cured by x-ray therapy. He's fine and so am I.

Venture Crew

Lately I've been hanging out with the Venture crew -- here's a shot of Mel teaching the young men a bit about marksmanship. I wish I had learned the things he's teaching when I was young!

Daisies

Lily wants to be a daisy...Leigh Anne creates a daisy troop...next thing you know we've got daisies everywhere in our living room! last night they were playing crazy daisy twister!

Halloween Round One

We went to the ward "Trunk or Treat" last night. It was a perfect activity for the kids. Joshua was a power ranger, Lily was Fancy Nancy and Kerrigan was a fortune teller.

The hot chocolate was a BIG hit.

...and now for more Halloween! Our neighborhood is trick or treat central and as it's Sunday we were struggling with exactly what to do until we were invited over for a Halloween get together at a friend's house. One way or the other -- Halloweeen twice this year!

Sponge Bob?

I have no idea why kids like Sponge Bob - -but who cares when they smile like this?

We've got three cool pumpkins; we've got three cool kids. We call one of the kids 'Pumpkin'. Based on these pictures, who's our pumpkin?

Mcklay Flats

KK and I went over to McKlay Flats today to ride bikes. She was showing me all her different ways of riding "fancy" and her bike "tricks". Great times. I hope she doesn't get older too fast!

The Latest News

Here's a few pictures from the last couple of weeks. Joshua now loves catching grasshoppers -- thinks it's the coolest thing ever! Kerrian and Lily are playing soccer again and lovin' it. The last picture is of me and LTC(P) Greg Fryer at the family practice conference in Denver. It was great to go to the conference but even better to catch up with friends. I even got to have dinner with Justin and I got to catch up with Jay and Noelle Robinson while I was there.

Lovin' School

Lily's excitement over school is non-stop. It's good to see her so thrilled about it every day...I wonder how long this will last?

We've got family in th neighhborhood!

Ok, Spokane isn't exactly close but that's the closest family we've got! Carolyn contacted me a while ago -- and she brought her family out for a visit. It was good to meet Ben, Natalie, Julia and Levi! Now we just need a few more of you to move up here!

Hide n' Seek

Joshua was hiding in the closet this morning. He hid over and over in the same place -- and over and over had the same joy when we went to find him. He's a joy.
