We've got family in th neighhborhood!

Ok, Spokane isn't exactly close but that's the closest family we've got! Carolyn contacted me a while ago -- and she brought her family out for a visit. It was good to meet Ben, Natalie, Julia and Levi! Now we just need a few more of you to move up here!

Hide n' Seek

Joshua was hiding in the closet this morning. He hid over and over in the same place -- and over and over had the same joy when we went to find him. He's a joy.

Lily's First Day of School

Today was Lily's first day of school!

Western Montana Fair....etc.

Here's a few pictures from the Western Montana Fair. The rodeo was great...Kerrigan wants a horse now....or a pig...or a goat...but no Llamas! Somehow I clicked on this hilarious picture of Joshua too. That boy can climb!

Sapphire Mountains

We had a little adventure this weekend -- our first foray into the Sapphire Mt. range. We hit an old mining town, Philipsburg, where we found sapphires in the rough. Then we went ot Georgetown lake to play. What a great spot!

Temple Trip

We went to the temple in Spokane last week and shared babysitting with Joe and Elena Hylton. We found a great park to play in! It's nice to go to the temple and great to have friends who can help.

Big Creek

Kerrigan and I went up Big Creek with Todd and Meredith today. Todd taught me a bit about fly fishing. Kerrigan and Meredith built fish hotels, chased butterflies and had a blast.

Floatin' the River

We floated a little section of the Blackfoot again yesterday. T'was a great time for everyone. And a little DQ on the way home was a great way to wrap up the day. Gotta love those dilly bars!

Visiting Gran and Papa Nik

Here are a few pictures from our trip out to visit Lois and Nik -- but they really don't tell the story. What did Lily and Josh love the most? Playing at Gran's house!

Tennis Lessons

We went to an asian festival in Virginia yesterday -- and it turned out to be an asian/tennis festival! Somehow both Lily and Kerrigan got some impromptu lessons from a tennis pro! Too cool. Brenda Schultz-McCarthy -- she was great. We'll be playing more tennis in Montana now.

Gifts that keep on giving!

Papa Ted made this rocking horse for Kerrigan about 7 years ago. Everyone still loves it. The kids who visit love it. Our kids love it. It has been great! Go Ted!

Joshua's Third Birthday

Bear Creek

We sauntered up Bear Creek a couple of weeks ago -- here's a couple of pictures of Kerrigan and Meredith. It's a sweet spot! I'd put pictures up of floating the Blackfoot river but I don't have any! But we all got wet and had fun. We've got tubes and lifejackets but I need to buy a raft.

Lily turns five!

I can't believe it has already been five years! We had a great party at the carousel!
